In this session, discover her groundbreaking journey to becoming the first nationally syndicated Black woman cartoonist in the mainstream press. Hear what it was like growing up as the daughter of Brumsic Brandon Jr., creator of the comic strip Luther, and how the messages in both of their work continue to resonate powerfully today.
